The IQ Level 7 Certificate In Injectables For Aesthetic Medicine receives endorsement from the JCCP.

The IQ Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine was first launched in June 2016 and, to date, remains the only Ofqual regulated Level 7 qualification in injectables within the sector. From its initial launch, the qualification has undergone continuous review and improvement, drawing on feedback and collaboration from within the sector to ensure that it continues to meet the needs of an Aesthetic Practitioner.

IQ has recently received confirmation that the IQ Level 7 in injectables meets the criteria for JCCP approval. Accordingly, all graduates of the qualification will now be eligible for entry to the JCCP register.

IQ Chief Executive Raymond Clarke said “We are delighted to have received confirmation of this endorsement. This provides further recognition of the ongoing value of this qualification within the sector- both in terms of practitioner competence and the subsequent effects upon client/patient safety”.

This endorsement follows the qualifications latest period of review, conducted to ensure it continues to reflect best practice and the standards set by the relevant industry bodies. The qualification now incorporates and meets the criteria set within the standards frameworks recently issued by the CPSA and JCCP.

From the 15th October, these changes will be formalised within a revised qualification specification, published on the IQ website. All IQ education and training providers, delivering this qualification to those authorised to practice by their Professional Statutory Regulated Bodies, will be expected to adhere to these revised requirements from this date forward.
