Support Developing Qualifications
Industry Qualifications is committed to developing qualifications in-line with our centres' customer's requirements. Each month we receive requests for different regulated qualifications to be added to our portfolio. To enable us to achieve Ofqual regulation we must be able to evidence the support for the creation of the new qualification, in the form of a letter of support.

Guided Learning Hours: 80, Assessment: Project
Unit Description: This unit looks at change management within organisations and gives candidates the opportunity to carry out a research project in relation to change management and prepare a proposal and implementation plan for stakeholders. Candidates will look at change management models and theory and apply these in a practical context. They will identify a suitable administrative or business change project, analyse issues, select suitable models and prepare a proposal and implementation plan.

Unit Description: This unit looks at the importance of business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Candidates will analyse the ethical issues that face organisations and consider their corporate social responsibilities. They will research and explore issues and CSR for a specific organisation or industry and make recommendations as to how ethical policies and practices can be put in place and corporate social responsibilities can be met. The unit is useful to all managers who, in today’s business environment, need to be aware of the impact of ethical business practice and CSR.

Guided Learning Hours: 78, Assessment: Examination
Unit Description: This unit will develop candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the management of business facilities. This includes exploring the purpose, nature, and scope of facilities management, and its contribution to the business; the responsibilities of a facilities manager, management of business accommodation; health and safety requirements etc. The unit will allow candidates to effectively manage and improve the management of facilities within their organisation and to fully meet the needs of other business functions in relation to facilities management.

Unit Description: This unit examines the similarities and differences between management and leadership. Its aim is to enable candidates to analyse and evaluate the application of leadership and motivation approaches within organisations and the ethical considerations of leadership and management. Candidates will examine performance management techniques and the leadership role in the management of change.

Unit Description: This unit introduces candidates to the role planning an event. Candidates will learn how the successful management of events can support organisations to meet their objectives. The unit will equip candidates with the skills, knowledge and understanding to effectively plan and manage events within their organisations. Organisations will benefit from the candidates skill to plan events and their knowledge of how to manage events in a professional manner. Candidates will produce an event plan as part of the assessment for the unit. N.B. Candidates are NOT required to actually carry out an event, only to plan the management of an event.
