Undoubtedly, fire safety is vital to all businesses and is a legal requirement. Employers and people with control of premises have to assess fire safety risks and take action. Fire safety covers both establishing measures to stop a fire starting and how to tackle the dangers if a fire has already sparked. Those responsible for fire safety must ensure that adequate measures are in place to minimise the damage a fire can cause and more importantly, prevent the loss of life.
Our qualifications are designed to ensure all the basics of fire safety are covered and that you comply with current legislation. Moreover, our qualifications go from lower levels covering simple premises to higher levels that cover complex premises and environments.
Simple premises are defined as those buildings for which the means of escape are covered by the Communities and Local Government guides, such as offices and shops. Complex premises are defined as those buildings for which the means of escape cannot be adequately covered by the Communities and Local Government guides.
