Hospitality professionals generally work in customer service-based environments and are often responsible for overseeing the operations and success of an establishment. The hospitality and tourism sector covers a wide range of functions, most include the provision of food and drink, accommodation and leisure activities. Roles can be extremely diverse, ranging from catering staff to croupiers.
Although the main role of a hospitality professional is to ensure guests and customers have a pleasant experience, it can also include operations like hiring new staff and supervising existing ones.
