IQ Group, in collaboration with their India partners launched ‘Industry Qualifications, India’, at the Smart, Secure and Sustainable Cities India: Technology and Investment Summit, convened at Windsor, UK on the 13th July 2015. IQ India will provide access to a range of IQ Group products and services, contextualized where appropriate for the Indian economy.

Changes to the Working in the Private Security Industry Assessment

IQ has now completed the review on our assessments and updated question papers to reflect the changes to Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) announced by the HSE in April 2012. The new question papers will come into effect from the 21st of May 2012.

IQ is pleased to announce that following the SIA requirement that the delivery of the Door Supervisors qualification must be delivered over a minimum of 4 days and that each day’s training must not exceed 8 hours the SIA have extended a similar requirement for the other licence-linked qualifications.

Industry Qualifications Takes the lead on Polymer Qualifications

Industry Qualifications (IQ) has agreed with Cogent (the Sector Skills Council for chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, petroleum, polymers and life sciences business) and other awarding organisations operating within the Cogent sector footprint, that it will assume responsibility for 38 units for the polymer sector. The other awarding organisations have each assumed responsibility for Cogent units in other industries.
