The qualification has 2 mandatory units which learners have to successfully achieve to gain certification.
Knowledge: Assessments for unit 1 and the knowledge element of unit 2 is by multiple choice exam. Assessment must be carried out under exam conditions and a full SIA Identification check must be completed. Please see the IQ Centre Guidance for Security Qualifications available from the IQ website for details of examination requirements and how to book an assessment. The List of SIA acceptable forms of identification is included at the end of this specification.
