IQ Management Team

Chief Executive, Raymond Clarke has held senior roles within the vocational education sector since 1988, establishing and leading the National Training Organisation for the security industry, gaining approval and leading the national Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for the polymer industry, and running training companies and educational consultancies. He also provided independent chairmanship and acted as a facilitator for those involved in the establishment of the Sector Skills Council for the Facilities Industry.He has been involved in many strategic sector based education committees including:

  • Chairmanships of the National Training Organisations National Council Quality, Impact and resources committee;
  • Chairmanship of the Security Industry Lead Body Standards and Qualifications Committee;
  • Chairmanship of the DTI Plastics and Rubber Industry Forum Education Committee.

 

    Head of Business Development, Sallyann Baldry is a well known figure in the awarding body sector, having worked for Edexcel for 17 years in business development roles until August 2011. Most recently, she was employed as Employer Partnerships Manager and prior to that, Senior National Business Development Manager working across a number of industrial sectors. In 2005 she was awarded the Lord Peter Imbert prize for her work with Edexcel in the security industry. Before entering Edexcel, Sallyann was part of the management team at a major visitor attraction and prior to that worked as a lecturer in the FE sector.

    Head of Quality and Compliance, Bernie Zakary has extensive experience in Quality, Operational Systems, Educational IT and Business Development.

    General Manager IQ Resources, Stephanie Loke qualified in industrial design and is a SAP certified solution architect in business process integration. Her previous experience includes freelance design, journalism, as well helping to co-ordinate IT and logistics process changes across the international supply chain at BMW. She is responsible for the architectural design of IQ Qualifications information technology systems and the operation of IQ Resources.

    Product Development Manager, Deborah Mallinson has been employed within awarding organisations since 2003, working for ASET Awarding Body and then Education Development International (EDI) before joining IQ. She is an experienced qualifications development executive, with significant operational experience. Her roles have included Qualifications Executive at EDI (responsible for developing qualifications), Assessment Officer with responsibility for managing the assessment department of ASET AB, and Assessment Coordinator at ASET, managing a suite of qualifications.

    Operations Manager, Linda Affleck-Drimer qualified in hotel and catering management before undertaking a number of management courses at Cranfield and with the Industrial Society. She was Operations Manager with SAFE and prior to that held senior support roles at BT Mobile/BT Cellnet including Corporate Customer Service Manager, Service Strategy Manager, and Head of Customer Project Management. Linda has significant experience in the operation of and operational support for assessment centres, and the systems and philosophy that underpin the operation of awarding organisations and effective customer service.

    Business Development Manager (North), Sheila Mosley has developed an esteemed reputation across the North West of England over the last 20 years through her successful work in employer engagement and contract management of over 600 centres across industrial sectors and multiple qualification levels.  Sheila is a qualified Project Manager, Assessor, Internal and External Moderator and has developed and delivered qualifications and awards for ASDAN over the last 13 years.  Through Sheila’s empathy with training managers and delivery teams, as well as her ability to drive strategic objectives, Sheila is excited to be driving the development of the the Industry Qualifications  brand across the North of England in new customer bases such as Health and Social Care, Functional Skills and Management Qualifications.
